- Basic Morphing -

  • Make sure the Morph tab is selected. If the Model tab is selected, the deformations will affect the base vertices and not the current morph target.
  • Create a new morph target
  • Create a soft selection on a portion of the object
  • Use a deformation tool to deform the selected portion of the object (move, scale, rotate, bulge, etc.)
  • Notice how the hotter (yellow) portions of the object deform more while the cooler (red) deform less. This results in smooth, organic deformations.
  • Repeat the procedure of selecting and deforming the surface to achieve the desired shape.
