- Brush Tile Setup -

  • Choose a brush texture and then click Setup in the Texture Options panel, or simply press SHIFT-V
  • Here you can determine how the brush image will wrap around the objects.
  • THIS WILL NOT REMAP YOUR OBJECT! It merely maps the Brush Image to the objects. The UV mapping of the object will be preserved.
  • Press the V hotkey to see the texture wrapped around all of the paintable surfaces
  • Available wrapping types are Viewport Plane, Fixed Plane, Cylindrical and Spherical
  • Position, rotate, scale and frame the tiling simply bly clicking and dragging in the viewport.
  • Paint on the object and observe how the resulting paint is tiled for each tiling type.
  • Use the Auto-Align With Viewport option to force the tiling to always face the viewport. Works great with Fixed Plane since it is very similar to Viewport Plane, except the tiling size stays fixed when zooming in and out. Sweet!
