Step 1. Click on the Paint tab and select the basic Paint Brush
Step 2. Click on the viewport and trace out a test brush stroke.
Select Undo from the menu, or press CTRL-Z in Windows, or COMMAND-Z
in Mac OS X.
Step 3. Click on the Texture box and select a texture from the library.
Step 4. In the Texture Options panel, check Tile Brush Texture
and make sure that Tile Size is set to 1. In the Culling panel,
select None.
Step 5. Paint over the entire model from the front view.
Notice from the side view the paint appears stretched, as the angle of the
surface (relative to the front view) becomes greater. To compensate for this,
Choose the Fade By Angle option from the Advanced panel and make
sure the Falloff value is 50%.
Step 6. Paint over the entire side and top of the model to fix the stretching effect.
Because we are now painting with Fade By Angle, we will not introduce more streching.
The texture should now look continious from all angles.
